Put your hand up if you’re still recovering from a jam-packed weekend of visiting exhibitions, seeing Amy’s car and kite-flying?!
With so much to do and see last weekend, there are a lot of shout-outs to everyone who worked so hard. Our first standing ovation is for our marvellous City of Culture Pioneer volunteers who never cease to amaze us with their hard work, enthusiasm and willingness to help. We honestly don’t know where we’d be without you all!
As you all probably know, last weekend we decided to invade Beverley Racecourse with kites, kites and more kites! A huge, huge thank you goes out to our fabulous artists and kite-fliers who travelled from all over the UK, parts of Europe and even as far as Thailand to be with us. Our event was so special because of you and it was a pleasure to work with you all.
Last but by no means least, we would like to thank all of the local businesses and charities who supported us by coming and hosting a stall over the Kite Weekend; we hope you enjoyed it as much as we did. Our stallholders were…
The Scrap Store
Lab Rascals (On behalf of Siemens – one of our wonderful festival funders who helped to make it all happen)!
Yorkshire Wildlife Trust
Rebecca Rose Designs
WoW Face and Body Art
Thanks to you all. Everything you do to support us is truly appreciated.
