Remembering Amy, 5th January 2016

Tuesday 5th January is the 75th Anniversary of Amy Johnson’s tragic and untimely death. Although the festival doesn’t begin until 1st July, we couldn’t let this day go by without a tribute.

Join us at Kardomah94 for an evening of music, film, theatre and spoken word.

This evening is a small tribute to an amazing woman as we plan the programme for this year’s Amy Johnson Festival.

Three Cheers for Amy Johnson

Hull actor Rachel Harris will perform a brief but enthralling history of Amy Johnson’s life. An affectionate monologue packed with humour and derring-do scripted by Hull writer Dave Windass.

Soundtrack to a Life – Ruth Getz

Vintage songstress, Ruth Getz, will perform a selection of the songs that might have been on Amy Johnson’s lips from the 1900s to the 1940s.

Amy on film

Words from My Life
