Design Description
The Wonderful Amy moth is inspired by 1930s design and Amy’s love for both flying and fashion. Her plane is flying towards a stained glass sun leaving behind it a trail of fabric and flags which represent the countries she flew to along with the logos of the Gipsy Moth, the ATA and Hull’s coat of arms. The bottom of the moth depicts 1930s style fish which were taken from a fabric design. These represent the oceans and Amy’s father’s fish business.
