Urban Camouflage Moth

Urban Camouflage Moth

Artist – Liz Dees

Design Description

This moth design is based on modern fashion variations upon the camouflage design. Urban camouflage was developed as a fashion print rather than a useful type of camouflage and more recently has been interpreted incorporating the colour pink for a more feminine market.

I feel that this design graphically represents the struggle of women trying to achieve equality in male dominated workplaces and careers such as engineering and aeronautics industry.
