Inspired by Amy Johnson herself and the strides she made for other female innovators and world changers . Detail pencil style drawings with one colour on a different moth to highlight her quote, ” I am an ordinary woman who did extra ordinary things”.

Artist Statement

Charlie Fogg is an artist and illustratour from Malvern, Worcestershire, who studied for her Bacholers degree in illustration at Hereford College of Arts. Her work is inspired by Art Nouveau and mark making. She mostly works in loose watercolour juxtaposed by structred line work, she enjoys playing with opposing ideas in her work, such as fragility and strength.
