Steam Punk Moth

Steam Punk Moth

Artist – Liz Dees

Design Description

This moth design is based on the emerging Steam Punk aesthetic and genre, taking inspiration from the dawn of the industrial age and the Edwardian era, while combining futuristic science fiction elements. The myriad of pipes, dials, vents, cables, cogs and chains, as well as the use of canvas, brass and wood veneer are very reflective of the early 20th Century, during which Amy made her maiden flight to Australia in Tiger Moth airplane.
