Artist – Charlie Fogg

Design Description

Inspired by India as part of Amy’s flight path. I studied aspects of mendhi and other floral forms from Indian culture and the flourished metal work from the 1930’s. With Britain’s and India’s combined history I felt it fitting that one of the designs be inspired by this country.

Artist Statement

Charlie Fogg is an artist and illustrator from Malvern, Worcestershire, who studied for her Bachelors degree in illustration at Hereford College of Arts. Her work is inspired by Art Nouveau and mark making. She mostly works in loose watercolour juxtaposed by structured line work, she enjoys playing with opposing ideas in her work, such as fragility and strength.
