From the West to the East – Reflective Moth

Design Description

The green is the color of the Gypsy Moth “Jason” and the patterns are made up of different moths. The pattern is a reference to flight and to the East – western art deco symmetry meets the geometrical pattern and arabesques of the East. The idea would be to paint the moths in a reflective paint so at night the moths would glow and come to life capturing their nocturnal nature.

Derek and Graham have worked together for over 25 years on many projects across design and branding. They collaborate from Hull and New York City.
