Design Description

Felicia (from the Latin ‘felix’, which means happy, lucky or successful) depicts a Moth plane with bird wings. The plane is flying as part of a murmuration of birds. The designs show the harmony that can exist between nature and technology and also suggests how humans always take inspiration rom nature in order to create something new

Artist Statement

Andreea Stan is an animator, illustrator and writer. Born in Romania, she now lives and works in the UK. Her work combines poetry with surreal imagery in order to tell stories about contemporary issues and what it is like to be young in this day and age.
