Design Description

Art Deco or Deco, is an influential visual arts design style that first appeared in France just before World War I and began flourishing internationally in the 1920s and 1930s. Deco Echo is inspired by British female designers such as Susie Cooper and Clarice Cliff who created innovative Deco ceramic designs at affordable prices for everyone to enjoy.

Artist Statement

Yorkshire artist Stephen likes to work in public and uses large studio spaces where passers-by can watch him create his very public artworks. After a long career as a development chemist, Stephen enjoys experimenting with new materials and decorating techniques to create his public artworks. Sales of Stephen’s artworks have recently raised over £50,000 for children’s charities.
