Artist – Sue Kershaw
Sponsored by: NHS Hull Clinical Commissioning Group
Design Description
The courage, resilience, persistence and aspirational drive of Amy are still inspirational today to the women and men of Hull. Amy provides an example of how each and every woman can reach their full potential by drawing on their own intrinsic talents with the support and admiration of their community. The 1930s art deco influenced colour scheme and design is created in a mosaic of glass tiles with accent mirror tiles enabling women to reflect upon their own image and achievements alongside Amy’s in the moth and aspire ever upwards.
